The continent of Africa has long been plagued by social injustices. The most pressing of these social injustices are the violations of the basic human rights of the people of Africa. Africa's long history of imperialism and civil war coupled with archaic tradition have lead to vast and varied human rights violations. Here's a couple of examples.

Child Soldiers:
In various African countries, when rebel armies attack villages they often abduct children in order to use them as child soldiers.These children are ripped from their homes, abuses, brainwashed, broken and beaten, all to be trained to be sent into battle first.Currently, child soldiers are fighting in at least 15 countries and territories, including Africa, The middle east and Asia.

Human trafficking is the abduction and sale and trade of human beings as either slave laborers or sex objects.Human trafficking victims are often tricked and oerced into falling into a trap of either promised work or education, but instead are taken and sold on the black market.
These are just 2 examples of more pressing issues in our world today that make me so mad at our world leaders and governments for not further intervening in more problems in our world besides whatever the united states of fucking america happen to be dealing with.Make a choice, make a difference. It's time our generation grew some balls for this is our great depression.
